Do Son Beach

Located about 22km from city center, in Hai Phong City, Do Son (Đồ Sơn) Beach is one of the most popular beaches of Vietnam. Talking about Do Son Beach’s beauty, we need to mention its white sandbank with 4km in length, clean water, impressive mountains and hills, and great pine trees that add this beach bright and attractive colors.

 As a small peninsula that is formed by Rong (Rồng) Mountains, Do Son Beach allures tourists and visitors with the light sand, pinky sunset, impressive forests of pine trees, imposing mountains, zigzag roads, and white sandbank. In the past, Do Son was a summer resort for Vietnamese upper-class people and French colonists. Nowadays, although not many French architectures remain, it is still an old house of the last king of Vietnam, King Bao Dai.

         From August To April, Do Son with its unique flourishing beauty attracts local tourists and becomes an ideal beach for tourists. Coming to the beach, you can spend hours taking the sunbath and swimming in the water. The appropriate level of salt in Do Son can protect your skin from sunburn. You can also play water sports in Do Son Beach.

         Traveling to Do Son Beach Hai Phong, tourists can visit Dau Island (Đảo Dấu) that has a bird yard, an entertainment area, an animal zoo, and a historic lighthouse. Tourists can also explore the historical relic of unnumbered ships (Tau Khong So (Tàu Không Số)) wharf that is situated at the foot of Nghia Phong Hill (Đồi Nghĩa Phong). Lan Ha Bay

Lan Ha Bay is one of the most magnificent bay in the world. Lying to the south of Halong Bay off the north-eastern coast of Vietnam and 30km away from city center, the 300-or-so karst islands and limestone outcrops of Lan Ha are just as beautiful as those of its superstar neighbour, but feel more isolated and untouched. Lan Ha also has the additional attraction of numerous white-sand beaches, which aren't found at Halong.

Geologically, Lan Ha is an extension of Halong Bay but sits in a different province. Around 200 species of fish, 500 species of mollusc, 400 species of arthropod (prawns, crabs) and numerous hard and soft corals live in the waters here, while larger marine animals in the area include seals and three species of dolphin. You can get there by renting a ship or speedboat; depend on expense you can rent a cruise and enjoy the day.

Hon Dau

          Hon Dau: is a small island which is 1 km from Do Son peninsula. Like other islands, this place is suitable for whom want to get away from it all and enjoy peaceful and fresh atmosphere. At Hon Dau, tourists can visit primary forest, indulge themselves in picturesque scene of Vong Canh Hill.

          Visitors can also sail around to contemplate stunning scenery and lovely animals. Additionally, there are luxurious and convenient resorts located at ideal places where visitors can see the beauty of landscape. You can get a taxi from center, then rent a boat to Hon Dau and back
 

        Cat Ba is highly recommended place in the northern, which is 45km from Hai Phong center. It’s very famous and magnificent for the beauty of turquoise sea water,  and huge limestone rocks. There are another reason for its attraction, that’s fresh and nutritious seafood source which is processed skillfully. Tourists are surely satisfied with high-rated services, interesting cave system, islands. These are some suggestions:

Cat Ba National Park

 Cat Ba's beautiful national park is home to 32 species of mammal, including most of the world's 65 remaining golden-headed langurs, the world's most endangered primate. There are some good hiking trails here, including a two-hour return trip to Ngu Lam peak and a day-long hike to Viet Hai village. Of the mammals present in the park, the more commonly seen include macaques, deer, civets and several species of squirrel, including the giant black squirrel. Seventy bird species have been spotted here, including hawks, hornbills and cuckoos. There are various choices of transportations for tourists. You can use ferry or cable to move to this park.

Monkey Island

Monkey Island is a very beautiful island in Catba beach town, Hai Phong city, Vietnam. This island has 2 beautiful beaches for swimming and there is mountain for go up to take nice pictures of Lan Ha bay with thousands of islets around. The most special feature is dozens of monkeys living here, which make it become wild naturally. Tourists can play with monkeys, enjoy the time at this island and take great photos. To get to Monkey Island, visitors can rent ships or canoes. It only takes about 1 hour or less if you depart from city center

Bach Long Vi Island

Bạch Long Vĩ sits 58 meters (190 ft) above sea level, and is a plateau. It is located in the Gulf of Tonkin, about halfway between Haiphong and Hainan Island (China). The island is an offshore district of Haiphong city and 110km far from land. Its name means “ The tail of White Dragon” according to a local ancient legend. The weather is usually mild and cool at average of 23°C. people can visit conservation area, where there are variety of precious animal and plants, take some photos of pagodas and landscape and taste delicious local food. Getting a boat at Binh Pier will take about 7h to get to the island
